Steam-Train Rides

A nostalgic ride on the "Pinzga‘ Dampfzügl", which is pulled by a steam locomotive built in 1906, is bound to be a memorable adventure for young and old alike.

Your journey on the steam train begins in Zell am See and follows the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn line through Salzachtal to Krimml. In the vintage-style carriages, you feel as though you have been transported back to earlier times. This ride through glorious countryside promises total enjoyment.

During the trip, you have the option of getting off at stops along the way. If you decide to take the complete excursion all the way to Krimml, you may wish to continue your travels by visiting the imposing Krimml Waterfalls, the highest waterfalls in all of Europe.
